“Pouding Chômeur” is a staple in Quebec’s culinary history. Its name translates to “unemployed’s pudding”.

For many of us, it’s linked to childhood memories and family gatherings. Its beginnings are humble, dear to our hearts and a symbol of resilience.

Today we are sharing a recipe that is very dear to me, my grandmother’s Pouding Chômeur. This recipe is rich and decadent and perfect to snack on with your crafty project.

Bon appétit and happy baking!
