Akim

We teamed up with the talented Stéphanie Voyer from À la maille suivante to release the Akim sweater using our Leizu Worsted base. 

Akim is inspired from our favorite knits from the early 80’s, mix your favorite colors to create your own unique look.

This sweater is worked in the round from the bottom up. Body and sleeves will be worked separately at first, then you will join them for yoke and neckline.

Here is a little bit of what Stéphanie’s inspiration was for this pattern:

“This sweater is inspired by a knitted sweater my grand-ma knitted for me when I was 2 years old. It was 100% acrylic bright red, grey and white; early 80’s fashion. She passed away when I was 7, but my mom and my aunts always tell me I’m her closer grand child, because I love crafts as much as she did.”
