Archipel ~ Corrine Ouillon

This week is going to be a busy one for new pattern release!

The first one to be presented is Archipel by Corinne Ouillon. It requires one skein of Merletto, our new lace weight yarn.

Archipel

Corinne has a thing for shawls, her design are always stunning and Archipel is no exeption.

Being a long time knitter, she is facinated by how knitting works and loves the endless possibilities designing a piece brings.

Travelling is a big part of her life as well; different cultures and the lands she visits are her sources of inspiration.

Corinne used the Fjord colorway lending a real ocean feel to the piece; I totally see myself wearing this strolling by the beach in the late afternoon.

An archipel (archipelago in english) is a cluster or group of islands close to one other; knowing that you can definitely see those little island pop out of the stitch patttern now!

Using a blue colorway will keep the beachy feel but any colors will make for a fantastic shawl. Spring is finally here and this pattern brings use a warm and fresh breeze to carry us into the warmer days!
