Nurtured
Nurtured is a worsted-weight yarn, spun by our friends at Green Mountain Spinnery. Different from our other bases, Nurtured is dyed in the fleece, meaning that the fibers are dyed prior to the yarn being spun, resulting in all the different layers of colors blending into a beautiful heathered look.
Nurtured has a soft hand, 3-ply construction for strength, and is woollen-spun allowing flexible gauge. It’s great for cables and intricate stitch patterns, and it also brings texture to plain stockinette stitch fabric.

Nurtured Fine
Nurtured Fine is Nurtured’s little sister, with the same beautiful fiber content in a single ply.
It is a light-fingering weight yarn that knits up at various gauges and needle sizes, depending on the desired drape of the fabric. With generous yardage of 780 yds per 4 oz, you will only need two cones for a sweater or a large shawl.

Journey Sport
Journey Sport is a beautiful, soft, and springy non-treated mix of Merino and Targhee, available in 12 colors and perfect for colorwork projects.

Journey Worsted
Journey Worsted is a classic Worsted weight yarn with timeless versatility. Like Journey Sport, Journey Worsted is a round and springy yarn with crisp stitch definition with less bulkiness than traditional Worsted weight yarns.

Leizu Fingering + DK
Leizu was created to be a go-to, versatile yarn. This bouncy and luminous blend of superwash merino and silk offers great stitch definition and stunning drape.
Leizu is perfect for cosy garments and next-to-skin accessories. The merino wool makes this yarn incredibly soft to the touch while the silk makes the colours shine with a subtle variegated effect.
Anatolia
Anatolia is a versatile, beautifully haloed yarn with a silk finish. It’s the perfect yarn to strand with other types of yarn to add a soft fluffy halo with a subtle glow. Or knit it by itself to create an airy fabric.

Nomade
Nomade came out of our quest for the ultimate sock yarn: a yarn that is easy to care for, springy to work with, soft to wear, and durable.
We chose North American Merino wool, adapted to colder climates. The wool is treated and spun with nylon in the USA, using eco-friendly processes that yield a yarn with a great sheen and flexibility, appropriate for socks as well as garments.
Boucle
Boucle is a textured yarn that knits up into a soft and cozy fabric. It is the perfect yarn for light and comfortable accessories and garments.
- Fibre: 70% Alpaca + 30% Highland Peruvian wool

Merino Silk Roving
For Twist, we dyed a special batch of OOAK merino/silk fibre braids that are perfect for putting on a wheel or a drop spindle for an outdoor spin in the shade, or perhaps for making thrummed mittens thinking forward to the fall.
Tukuwool DK
We prepared combos in Tukuwool DK for the Douglas Cardigan by Andrea Mowry.
Tukuwool DK is spun and dyed in Finland from 100 % Finnish wool. Tukuwool DK is a lively woollen-spun two-ply yarn is a delight to work with. It is a genuine workhorse yarn for sweaters and accessories such as mittens and hats.
Tukuwool DK is at its best in colorwork as well as structures such as cables. The color palette includes heathered deep and vibrant colors that tempt you to mix and play with. After wet blocking the stitches relax and the fabric softens and evens. Woolen spun Finnsheep wool is warm and airy, soft and rustic.
Lady Dye Yarns
We are thrilled to have a selection of Lady Dye Yarns at Twist! The Bridgerton Collection from Lady Dye Yarns is a whimsical collection from Boston-based dyer Lady Dye Yarns inspired by the Shondaland show of the same name.
It includes SW merino DK, suri alpaca and SW merino single-ply fingering. This beautiful collection will sure add some romance to your next project.
